Day 2.Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi- Nightlife Tour (-/L/D)
Explore a maze of hidden tunnels, learn why they were used by the Viet Cong during the war, and see what life was like for these subterranean soldiers on this private underground excursion. Afterward, cruise around Ho Chi Minh City’s most famous colonial-era landmarks and enjoy a tasty lunch.
Start your day with convenient pickup from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel and enjoy the quick ride out of town to the Cu Chi tunnels, famous for hiding Viet Cong soldiers throughout the Vietnam War. Follow your guide to one of the tunnels camouflaged entrances and then wiggle inside for a tight scuffle down their zigzagging path. Explore larger rooms where soldiers gathered to eat, try the foods they would have eaten, and find out how guerilla fighters managed to evade opposing forces.
Once you’re above ground again, return to Ho Chi Minh City to dive into colonial-era architecture on visits to the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office, Hindu Temple. Learn about the legacies of the French during the 19th century and continue your investigation of war tragedies with a stop at the War Remnants Museum.
We will take some commemorative photographs at the port before getting in the ship and have dinner in Sai Gon River. During the dinner time, you will enjoy Southern Vietnamese Fork Music and sightseeing of Ho Chi Minh City at night. After your dinner cruise, we will take you back to your hotel. Day 3.Mekong Delta Tour (-/L/-)
Pick up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, taking about more than 02 hours driving by car/ van/ bus from Ho Chi Minh city to My Tho city, enjoying sightseeing from the bus with countryside scenery along the way to Mekong Delta (around 85km western of Saigon).
Upon arrival in My Tho Boat Pier, taking a private motor boat trip on the upper part of the Mekong River to leisurely moving along the Mekong River to Bai Dinh Canal, along the way, you enjoy drinking some fresh sweet coconut juice with a chopped coconut while seeing the fish market and the floating fish farms, viewing over the Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Turtle islands, ( some 30 minutes ), Arrival Thai Son 3 island, a stopover to an island for a tasting of some honey tea and samples of fresh juicy tropical fruits while listening to the traditional classical music of the South. Taking a short walking tour along the fruit gardens to the horse driven cart station, enjoy a horse driven cart tour for sightseeing while moving along the country road. Take part in a hand rowing sampan tour which is slowly moving along the narrow cannals under the cool shadow of thick green water coconut forests, the small sampan will drive us to the big motor boat awaiting.Continue the cruising tour to visit Ben Tre, get off the cruise again for visiting a local coconut candy factory where you will have chances to see how the coconut candy being made by traditional methods, a taste of some samples of the hot candies will really a nice experience, this is also chance for you to buy for some good candy for friends for whoever love eating sweets…
Enjoy relaxing for a while and resume to the motor boat for cruising back to the main Boat pier, disembark the Cruise and farewell the boat driver and visiting Pagoda, resume for two hours driving back to Ho Chi Minh city
