DAY2: VIETNAM: MEKONG DELTA TOUR [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
At 7:30am, your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City Center and depart for Cai Be, a province deep in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in Cai Be, you will board a sampan to start a trip through many tributaries of the Mekong Delta. Your first stop is at the small but quaint Cai Be floating market, followed by a visit to a Coconut Plantation, and listen to the “Tai Tu Music”.Lunch will be served in Tan Phong Island. You’ll then spend one-hour rowing boats to observe and sight-see the beautiful island of Tan Phong as well as to visit fruit orchards. After a short rest, you’ll drive back to to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner.
DAY3: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (Half Day) [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
At 8:00am, after breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel for the Ho Chi Minh City tour. Your first stop is the War Remnants Museum – a real eye-opener to a part of Vietnam’s proud history. Then you’ll transfer to visit the Reunification Palace – untouched piece of history where time seems to have stood since April 30th of 1975. After that, we will visit the Notre Dame Cathedral located in a very peaceful picturesque corner of Ho Chi Minh city, across the road is the Central Post Office and the Opera House – significant symbols of the city. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant nearby.
Back to the Hotel, rest for a while then prepare for our trip to Phnom Penh Cambodia by 3:00pm via Phuong Heng . To arrive in Phnom Penh around 9pm- go straight to the hotel.
You will be exposed to the life of the people at the border and learn the process of crossing from one country to the other by land.
Day 4: CAMBODIA: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
At 8:00am, you begin your tour in Phnom Penh at Cambodia’s Royal Palace, which stands majestically in the city center just off the riverfront area. Several buildings are open to visitors including the ‘Silver Pagoda’ whose floor is lined with solid silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum. Located in a fabulous old building, the Museum is filled with art and artifacts dating back to the pre-Angkorian era. At the north end of the city is the hilltop pagoda of Wat Phnom, for which the capital was named. Climb the stairs to the top of the hill for fabulous views of the city below.
In the afternoon take a look into the country’s tragic recent history with a tour of Tuol Sleng Prison (S-21) sobering reminder of the evils of the Khmer Rouge regime. Although not a joyful tour, visiting this monument unlock keys to understanding the development of this still developing country. In between there is also time for a visit to the ‘Russian Market’. Test your bargaining skills as you wander through the stalls filled with souvenirs, local handicrafts, and electronic goods.
You end the day at the Tonle Bassac River front and enjoy the beauty of Phonm Penh and its environs while watching the sun sets to mark the end of the day.
Day 5: PHNOM PENH TO SIEMREAP [breakfast, dinner]
7:30am Travel going to Siem Reap. To arrive in Siem Reap around 1pm. Go straight to the hotel
The remaining hours of the day will be used to tour around the main thoroughfares of SiemReap. You will visit Cambodia Cultural Village Centre. This theme park showcases the traditional Cambodian way of life, and the local customs and practices of the various ethnic groups in the country. It is home to more than 10 villages, showing off the different cultures and characteristics of 19 Cambodian races. The shows include Apsara dances, traditional wedding ceremonies, circus acts and an elephant show. If time permits, we can see the Siem Reap Crocodile Farm; Banteay Srey Butterfly garden, among others.
Day 6: ANGKOR WAT AND THE TEMPLE REGION TOUR [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
The primary attraction for visitors to Siem Reap is the Angkor Wat and the Angkor Temple Region, which blankets more than 300km of northwestern Cambodia. The Angkor Temple Complex has been designated a UN Heritage Site and consists of hundreds of structures from the 9th to the 14th century that tell the story of the rise and fall of the Khmer empire. This vast collection of historical structures are decorated with intricately carved, priceless Khmer artwork and that provide an archaeological and a pictorial history of an empire that ruled much of southeast Asia for five centuries. Structure range from partially renovated temples, pagoda and imperial residences to recently discovered ruins which are virtual untouched for the last 500 years. A tour to the Pub Night Market Strip is a must see after dinner.
Day 7: SIEM REAP- POIPET – BANGKOK, THAILAND [breakfast, lunch]
At 7:30am, you start your journey to Bangkok. The trip takes 2 to 3 hours from SiemReap to Poipet and another 3 to 4 hours from AranyaPhrayet to Bangkok, depending on how crowded it is at the border. A lot of learning experiences along the way while enjoying the view of countryside Cambodia and Thailand.
DAY 8: BANGKOK, THAILAND CITY TOUR and SIAM NIRAMIT SHOW [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
At 8am, you visit WatTraimit, Temple of the Golden Buddha which is home to a 5.5 ton statue of the holy Buddha made from solid gold and is a fine example of Sukhothai art. Next stop comes at Wat Pho, Temple of the Reclining Buddha that is home to the largest and the oldest shrine of its kind in Bangkok. WatPhraKaew and the Grand Palace; National Museum-the largest museum in South-East Asia; (number of places to visit vary depends on the flow of tourists in the area).

The show is suitably structured into three acts: Journey Back into History, Journey Beyond Imagination: The Three Realms and Journey Through Joyous Festivals. Daily; Show is at 8.00 pm. daily The additional show will be announced in advance; Theatre gate will be open 30 mininutes before show time. Late arrival guest are requested to attend the show after break otherwise a suitable seat will be assigned.
Day 9: KANCHANABURI, RIVER KWAI and FLOATING MARKET TOUR [breakfast, lunch, dinner]
This tour begins early at around 6:00am when your tour guide will fetch you from your hotel for your early start which is essential as the drive to Damnoen Saduak is a little over one hour and we do not want to miss the colourful boats of this morning market. On the route to Damnoen Saduak we will stop by at Mae Klong Train Market where you witness the market vendors’ goods set up across the tracks of a working railway line. Just wait and see the amazing scene unfold when the scheduled train passes through this market! Before Damnoen Saduak we will make a short stop at a wonderful little Home industry producing palm sugar. You can see the sugar being made as well as try some of the sweet candy produced from the palm sugar. At Damnoen Saduak you well board a privately chartered motorboat where we will travel some of the canals on the way to the market and you can get a glimpse of real canal side life. we will disembark the boat at the market and you will then be free to explore the market, you can wander up and down the canals flagging down boats and vendors as you please or take the paddle boat option where you can really get amongst the action on the canals. We will proceed to Kanchanaburi where you visit the allied prisoners or war cemetery and the famous Bridge Over the River Kwai, we will also visit the Thailand Burma Railway Center which houses an excellent museum for those who are interested in the history of the railway and its construction. After this we will have the option to take a boat to get a closer view of the river before proceeding with the trip back to Bangkok or you can take the option to try some elephant riding. This is a great day to get out of the city and sample the history and beautiful nature that Kanchanaburi province has to offer as well as all the colors, sites and smells of the vibrant floating market at Damnoen Saduak.
Day 10: PRATUNAM MARKET ENCOUNTER and DEPARTURE
Pratunam Market is one of Bangkok’s major markets, focusing on clothes which makes it Thailand’s largest clothing market. This is so far the cheapest market for buying clothes, fabrics and textiles in central Bangkok. Other big malls are located within the Pratunam area such as Platinum, MBK, SIAM, among others.
